DR. REBECCA TORTORICI SHINGLETON
PROFESSIONAL MEDIATOR
LICENSED CLINICAL PASTORAL COUNSELOR
RETIRED ATTORNEY

Rebecca has mediated hundreds of family conflicts in the past 25 plus years as a privately retained professional, court appointed mediator and volunteer. Rebecca uses a concrete, results-oriented approach so clients may thoughtfully and productively identify, analyze and resolve their conflict and formalize agreements. Blending her skills as a mediator, pastoral counselor and retired attorney (1985- 2018), Rebecca seeks to meet each family member at his/her point of need.

WHY MEDIATION?

Conflict brings mental, emotional, spiritual and financial strain. Shock, anger, resentment, doubt, confusion, frustration and bitterness make life feel like a house on fire! Unresolved conflict generates harsh words, threats and desperate measures to force change – damaging health, emotional bonds and self image, sometimes permanently. Mediation allows families to address situations privately, quickly and effectively so everyone can move on!
